Dispositif (presque toujours pneumatique) servant à la copie des formes de montage (positives ou négatives) quel que soit le procédé d'impression choisi. Un tel châssis comprend un cadre orientable supportant une dalle de verre et un tapis de caoutchouc épais. On dispose la forme contre la glace, et la plaque de copie sensibilisée contre la forme. On rabat le tapis de caoutchouc sur le cadre et on fait le vide électriquement de façon à réaliser entre la forme et la plaque le contact parfait qui assure des copies impeccables.
